$500,000 Goal Achieved; Over $850,000 Raised!
The great news is that we have achieved our goal of $500,000. In fact, we’re over $850,000! We did it!
In September, Head of School Diana Owen reported that Pine Point had received its first million dollar commitment in the 67-year history of the School. If that announcement wasn’t exciting enough, the donors, Harvey and Jeanne DeMovick, offered to make an additional gift of $250,000 if the Pine Point family raised $500,000 over and above their Annual Fund contribution. The great news is that we have achieved our goal of $500,000. In fact, we’re over $800,000! We did it!
In the life of every institution there are those rare moments when everything comes together; the strong backing of The Challenge is one of those moments, and that generous support is indicative of how people are feeling about Pine Point’s present and future. The DeMovick’s faith in Pine Point tapped into a wellspring of strongly-held feelings for the School.
While The Challenge has been met, we’re confident there are members of the Pine Point family who want to be part of its success. We’re glad you want to be associated with The Challenge. Every gift to The Challenge will impact the program we offer the students from classroom instruction and financial aid to the athletics and arts programs and the upkeep of our beautiful campus. The names of every donor to The Challenge will appear in the Annual Report that appears in the fall magazine. The Challenge closes on June 30.
Thank you for your faith in Pine Point.
